All the dogs at Smotare (smo-tar'-ray) are Naturally Reared. This has been a gradual transition from traditional to holistic health and diet for both the people and the animals.

Smotare Ibizan Hounds has been in existence since 1987 and is located in Cincinnati, OH. Careful consideration is taken when breeding any of the dogs here. Temperment, structure, health and trainablity are all considered in looking for the right combination of dogs to breed.  There have been four litters bred here at this time.

I have both coat varieties (short and wire).

Puppies and young adults are occasionally available to special homes.

I also own and operate Love on a Leash Dog Grooming. I groom dogs for a  living. I show dogs as a hobby.  I enjoy showing my own dogs and sometimes show dogs for other people too.  I have been both grooming and showing dogs since the mid 60's.
